ANGRY BIRDS!

As a referral from Kelli, Sharon contacted me to make her sons 6th birthday cake! His theme? None other than ANGRY BIRDS! I was SO excited to make this cake and decided that the BEST way to get tons of inspiration was playing the game of course ;] Ideas and colors set I was completey STOKED because I got to use my CRICUT CAKE for the first time! [Christmas present from my amazing husband!] It was too perfect for cutting out "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN" to decorate the bottom tier along the cake. All the Angry Bird Figurines were made by hand &are entirely edible, along with the 'level' of angry birds on the top tier complete with sling shot and evil pig ;]  I hope that Sharon &her son Ethan love the cake as much as I loved making it!

PIRATE PRINCESS!

This special cake was created for Hayli, an adorable little girl who turned SIX! Her birthday party theme was 'Pirate Princess'.  Her awesome mom Kelli sent me a picture of the invitation for my inspiration-it was too cute! Black White &Pink zebra print, polka dots complete with skull and cross bones I knew had to incorporate it all!
